Widow of Major John H. Mecaslin, president of the Atlanta Gas Light Company. Daughter of Col. Mark A. Hardin, clerk of the Georgia house of representatives for 30 years. Charter member of the Daughters of the American Colonies, and a member of the Atlanta chapter of the D. A. R. Suvived by sisters Martha Hardin Garner and Virginia Hardin. She was step-grandmother to six.
