1938-2015
Patricia Elaine Bailey became one of God's Angels watching over us on March 13, 2015, at home in Springfield, Oregon, at the age of 76, after her battle with pancreatic cancer. Patricia was born in Inglewood, California on October 10, 1938 to Courtney and Lillian Mermilliod.
The most important thing in Patricia's life was her family. She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, extended family and friends. She will be deeply missed and always remembered with infinite love by her daughters Cheryl Campbell (Dave) of Lowell, Teresa Czikall (Tyrone) of Springfield, Julie Pense (Jimi Wilkerson) of Springfield and her son Terry Pense (Miriam) of Eugene, as well as her grandchildren Christine, David (Carey), Justin, McKenzie, Bryton, and Joshua. Her great-grandchildren Shelbi, Clayton, Kelly (Dustin), Mekenna and great-great-granddaughter Miaha. She also leaves behind a sister Beverly McKenzie, brothers-in-law Richard Hildebrand and numerous nieces and nephews. She will also be missed by special and loving group of friends.
Patricia was a loving, caring and compassionate person. Her positive spirit, kind ways, giving nature and loving expressions were an inspiration to all of us and will live on through each of us every day. She enjoyed walking on the beach and collecting sea shells, reading, gardening, drawing and painting.
Cancer took both loves of her life. Her first love, Clarence Pense, whom she had four children with and shared 27 years of marriage, and her last love Raymond Bailey that she then shared 27 years of marriage. She was also preceded in death by her mother and father, her sisters Lillian, Gertrude, Mary and her brothers Bertram, Richard and Sonny Jr.
