Ruth Todd was born May 14, 1925 in Louisville, Ky to Elmer and Lillian Probst. She married Melvin Todd on May 15, 1946 in Shamrock. He preceded her in death on October 13, 2014. Ruth was a beautician and a homemaker. She had lived in Shamrock for 34 years and was a member of First Baptist Church. Mrs. Todd was in charge of meals served for funerals at the church.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.

Daughter – Pennye Sue Williams – Houston
Sister – Mildred Haysley – Louisville, KY

Mrs. Todd was born May 14, 1925, in Louisville, Ky., to Elmer and Lillian Probst. She married Melvin Todd on May 15, 1946, in Shamrock.
Survivors include a son, Neil Todd of Shamrock; a daughter, Pennye Sue Williams of Houston; a sister, Mildred Haysley of Louisville; a grandson; and two great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials be to First Baptist Church in Shamrock or Hospice Care of the Southwest.
