MESA, ARIZONA — Dollie A. Hughes, age 79 passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, January 26, 1980. She was born on August 7, 1900 [1889] and was a former Madison area resident. She moved to Mesa, Arizona in 1949. She is survived by two sons, Carl C. Mizer of Dickenson, Texas and Robert E. Mlzer of Pineview, Missouri; three daughters, Mrs. Lucille Valentine of Phoenix, Arizona, Dorothy Groves, Helen Prother of Madison; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, William R. Hughes in 1957 and two sons, Loren and Merle Mizer. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 31 at 1 p.m. at THE RYAN FUNERAL HOME, 2418 N. Sherman Ave., with Reverend Wesley Schirmer officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park.
