He is also preceded in death by 4 daughters, Phyllis Kinsel, Sandra Hayes, Sarah Stout, and Elaine Brooks, one son, Luther Ballinger, and a grandson, Timothy Wallace. He raised 15 children and was an amazing husband, father, and grandfather.
He is survived by 10 children, Marlene Wallace of Trenton, Gordon (Phyllis) Ballinger of Hamilton, Janice McGee of Michigan, Lynn Hamblin of Hamilton, Vicki (Dana) Brown of Arizona, Teresa Riley of Hamilton, Danny (Patti) Ballinger of Hamilton, Laura (Allan) Jones of Hamilton, Mark (Sherry) Ballinger of Hamilton, Nora Shepherd of Hamilton, 46 grandchildren, 108 great grandchildren, 20 great great grandchildren, brother, Ben Ballinger of Hamilton, and sister, Ethel Kimbel of Hamilton.
