The Rev. F. P. Ferguson and wife were called to Carlos last Saturday morning to conduct the funeral services of Eliza A. Curtis, the widow of Mr. C. W. Curtis, and mother of Mrs. E. R. Fullerton, John W. Curtis, and also of Mr. C. N. Curtis of Carlos, with whom she has made her home since the death of her husband. She was born in Ohio May 3, 1824, and was the mother of nine children, only three of whom survive her. She was a consistent member of the M. E. church, and a faithful and affectionate mother.
