DELMAR PERRY

Delmar Perry, son of Margaret and Samuel Perry, was born in Jackson county, Indiana, September 29, 1888. He departed this life at the Cameron hospital in Angola, December 29, 1945, at the age of 57 years and 3 months.
He was united and marriage to Inez Corwin, December 7, 1907. To this union seven daughters were born; Mrs. Pearl Hantz, Mrs. Belle Isenhower, Mrs. Dorothy Smith, Mrs. Alice Adams, Mrs. Ruth Rummel, Miss Eva and Miss Faye Perry still at home, all of the daughters living to mourn his passing. Along with these children he leaves his wife; nine grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Horace Thomas, of Fowler, and Mrs. Will Jenkins, of Monroe; two brothers, Green Perry, of Remington and Lewis, of Wolcott, and also a number of other relatives and friends.
Early in life Delmar united with the Gilboa United Brethren Church near Remington. He was a devoted husband, a good father, a helpful neighbor and will be missed by all.
Funeral services were held at the Klink Funeral Home in Angola, at 2:00 o’clock p.m., January 1, 1946. Services were in charge of Rev. John Humfreys, D.D,, and the body was laid to rest in the cemetery at South, Scott to await the resurrection morn.
