Floyd I. Sanders of Beloit, WI died on March 16, 2015 at the age of 84. He was born on March 31, 1930 in Cataract, WI to Charles and Olga (Bakko) Sanders and was the eldest of 12 siblings. He married Henrietta “Hank” Clark on October 27, 1950 and they shared their journey together until her passing on August 9, 2014. Floyd enjoyed car shows, car collecting and he dedicated many years to working as a local mechanic. In his earlier years he was a member of the U.S. Army, after which, he worked for local garages and Fairbanks Morse from where he retired. Following his retirement he continued his joy of working on cars. Floyd also enjoyed trips to the casino, adventuring on bus trips, playing cards with friends and spending time with family, friends and his 4-legged kids. He touched the hearts of all who knew him with his caring and giving nature. He was known to strike up a conversation with new friends and old through his easy going and friendly personality. Floyd was full of vibrant energy and never let anything distract him from living a full and happy life. His smile, kindness and positive influence will live on in our hearts forever. Floyd is survived by his three children; eight grandchildren; six great grandchildren and his four-legged kids Sandy, Joe & Kathy Kat. He was preceded in death by his wife Henrietta “Hank” Sanders, son John I Sanders and three siblings. Rosman Uehling Kinzer Funeral Home.
