Howard Duncan died at the age of 56, at home surrounded by friends and family. He worked for various construction companies, tying steel and for the EPA building hazardous landfills. He enjoyed motorcycles and going to Harley drag races, he also enjoyed NASCAR races.

He was preceded in death by his father Gordon Duncan Jr. and two Stepfathers, Edward Roling and Bill Hallam. He is survived by: His wife of 34 years, Deanna Duncan of Bartlesville, Oklahoma, his mother Audrey (Thell) Hallam Woodland Shores, in Grand Lake, Oklahoma, a Stepmother Carol Tilton of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, a daughter Jean Raenee Reeder of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, a son Justin Michael Duncan of Bartlesville, Oklahoma, a granddaughter, Two Brothers-Gordon Duncan III. of San Antonio, Texas, and Charles Duncan of Pawhuska, Oklahoma, and a sister Linda Romine of Enumclaw, Washington. Plus his companion Stephanie Wilson of Bartlesville, Oklahoma.
