Portsmouth - Omar, (18), departed this life on Jan 20, 2015. He was born to Franklin and Maxine Vinson on Sept 7, 1996 in Portsmouth, VA. He was a Senior at I C Norcum High School. He enjoyed fishing and recreational sports such as football and baseball. He was an advid Redskin Fan. He was a Loyal, Dedicated, and Faithful employee at Philadelphia Coldcuts, Portsmouth.
Omar leaves his memories to his son- Quinton, his mother- Maxine Vinson, his father- Franklin Vinson, his sister- Markeil Reed, his four brothers- Mike Hooker, Amard Vinson, Denell and Rashad Booker, his maternal grandparents- Minnie and Harrold Booker, and a host of other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his sister- Tiffany.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday Jan 29 at 1 pm in St Mark Missionary Baptist Church, Portsmouth. Viewing will began at Steele-Bullock Funeral Home on Wed from 2 - 8 pm. Family and friends will assemble at 1918 County Street, Portsmouth for the procession to the church.
