ANDERSON — Christine Garrett, 88, of Anderson, passed away March 16, 2015, at Rawlins House in Pendleton.
She was born Jan. 2, 1927, in Burkesville, Ky., and resided most of her life in Anderson.
She was a homemaker.
She attended Parkview Wesleyan Church, Chesterfield.
Christine is survived by her two daughters, Nancy (Gary) McEwen of Anderson and Margaret (Vance) Kline of Greenfield; grandchildren, Kristofer Ryan (Holly) Miller of Henderson, Nev., Nicholas Alan (Kristy) Miller of Pendleton, April Joy (Brent) Crowell of Alexandria, Ky., and Hope Christine (John) Wilson of Richfield, Minn.; great-grandchildren, Zackery Miller, Madeline Miller, Lillian Miller, Brendon Crowell, Caleb Wilson, Luke Wilson, Eliana Wilson, Jackson Keesling, Tanner Keesling and Walker Keesling. She was also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Pearlie Garmon; husband of 50 years, Billy James Garrett; brothers, Floyd, Ray, Stanley, Leo and Cecil Garmon; and a sister Rrene Branham.
Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday at Robert D. Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, Anderson.
Services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with the Pastor Dennis Clark and the Rev. Paul N. Trent officiating. Burial will take place in Grovelawn Cemetery, Pendleton.
