Rock Musician. A drummer, he will be best remembered for his work with the ensemble "Molly Hatchet". Raised in Florida, he was in high school when he saw the band perform. When the original drummer departed, Crump succeeded him. Their first three albums "Molly Hatchet" (1978), "Flirtin' with Disaster" (1979) and "Beatin' the Odds" (1980) achieved platinum status. He remained with the group until 1990 and later worked in the real estate industry. Additionally, he worked as a drumming instructor. During the 2000s, he battled throat cancer.
