Stephanie Grace (Jordan) Lang, 66, of Martinsburg, died Friday, May 28, 2010, at the Blue Ridge Hospice, in Winchester, Va.
Born June 29, 1943, in Cumberland, Md., she was the daughter of the late Grace Leona (Deal) Jordan-Jones and Stephen Joseph Jordan.
She is preceded in death by her son, Gerald Paul Lang.
Stephanie was a 1961 graduate of Southern High School and enjoyed playing clarinet throughout high school. She attended Frostburg and Garrett Community College and Strayer Business College.
She worked for Group Health Assoc., Washington, D.C.; Batchlett-Smith Insurance Agency, Meadville, Pa.; and Bausch & Lomb, Oakland, Md., until their closing. She then worked as a purchasing agent at U.S. Pharmacopeia, in Rockville, Md., until her retirement.
Stephanie retired to Martinsburg. She enjoyed genealogy and compiled several family histories for friends and family. She was a member of the Garrett County Historical Society, Oakland, Md. She was also a member of the Berkeley County Historical Society, Martinsburg. She enjoyed square dancing with the Mountaineer Twirlers in Harpers Ferry and the Panhandle Square Dancers in Martinsburg.

A brief memorial service and party will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. July 17, 2010, at Winchester Avenue Christian Church, 400 Winchester Ave., Martinsburg, for friends and family.
