Donald Ray Teague, 58 Sapulpa went to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 15, 2015 at St. John Medical Center Sapulpa Ok. He was born on December 6, 1956 in Ontario, Ca to Edward Foy and Janice Yvonne (Glasgow) Teague. He was a member of Foundation Church of Sapulpa. He has resided in the Sapulpa area since October 1995 coming from Claremore Ok. He was the owner of Star Care since 2002.
God had given Ray a servants heart. He enjoyed being the hands and feet of Christ wherever he saw a need in church ministries, missions both international and national, youth activities, being a foster parent for 25 years, advocating for foster children and those with disabilities. He enjoyed being involved in the lives of his children making memories playing board and video games, being involved in activities of his children band, choir, judging at speech tournaments, sports, watching Disney while receiving new hair do's and makeup makeovers from his daughters.
Even in death he continued to service those in need by being a organ and tissue donor.
Donald married Beverly Parker on July 18, 1980 in Haskell, Ok. They were married for 34 years.
Donald is survived by wife, Beverly Teague of the home; mother Janice Teague of Claremore Ok; sons Nicholas Teague of Bolivar Mo, Tim Teague and Stephen Teague both of Tulsa; daughters Mercedes Teague, Alexis Teague, Cyra Teague all of the home; brothers Mike Teague wife Erin of Claremore, Dale Teague wife Erica of Foyil Ok; brother in law Brian Parker wife Jean of Tahlequah Ok; 4 grandchildren; nieces and nephews; numerous family and friends.
Donald is preceded in dead by his father Edward Teague.
Family Visitation will be held from 6-7 pm on Thursday, March 19, 2015 at Smith Funeral Chapel, 1208 S Main St, Sapulpa, OK. Funeral services will be held at 2 pm on Friday, March 20, 2015 at Foundation Church, 7785 S Hwy 97, Sapulpa, OK, officiating will be Pastors Mike Lehew and Scott Hamilton with interment to be held at Haskell Cemetery at 4 pm.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Donald’s name to Mobile Missions Network c/o Foundation Church, 7785 S Hwy 97, Sapulpa, OK.
