Anthony James (AJ) Boone 28, of Champaign, IL, passed away Saturday, March 14, 2015 at his residence in Champaign, IL.
He was born in Vincennes, Ind. May 6, 1986 the son of James Jay Boone and Carrie Burris Bentley.
He was a graduate of Union-High School in 2004 and a graduate of Full Sail University in 2010. AJ'S ability and accomplishments in music were astonishing. He was well known as the keyboard player for the band "Philpot". His love and passion for music and film was unlike any others. He was the Vice President and Production manager at Puroclean.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother Wilma Gardner Boone.
Survivors include his fiancé Tiffany Shepherd of Vincennes, Ind., both parents; James Boone (Julia Lee) of Robinson, Ill., Carrie Burris Boone Bentley (Jeff) of Champaign, Ill., brother; Curtis Michael Boone (Haley Burnett) of Champaign, Ill., loving grandson of Bob and Beverly Burris of Jasonville, Ind., and Marion (Bud) Boone of Robinson, Ill., great grandmother Juanita Hill of Hymera, Ind., also several Aunts, Uncles and cousins.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 19, 2015 at Banks and Brust Funeral Home in Sullivan, Ind. with Pastor Happy Lehman officiating. Burial will follow in the Center Ridge Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until services Thursday.
