He was born November 19, 1928 in Bulls Gap, TN son of the late Harley and Lizzie (Saulsbury) Walker. Mr. Walker was the owner/operator of Walker Appliance Repair and was a member of Emanuel Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by 4 brothers Theodore, Clifford, Haskell, and Carroll. He is survived by his wife of 64 years Opal; one son Roger (Joy) Walker of Kettering; 2 daughters Sandy (Dave) Baldwin of Huber Heights and Sheila (Rick) Minor of Daytona Beach, FL; one sister Eva Adams; 5 grandchildren Trina, Dustin, Rob, Travis, and Brandon; 2 great-grandchildren Peyton and Rowan and a host of other relatives and friends.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Heart Association in Mr. Walker’s memory.
