Mary Phyliss Clark Grimes, 57, of Bardstown, formerly of New Haven, died Monday, March 16, 2015, at her residence. She was preceded in death by her parents, William Oscar "Ott" and Mary Louise Donahue Clark. Survivors include her husband, Carlos Masil Grimes, of Bardstown; a son, William Matthew Holcomb; two stepsons, Elmer Montgomery and Joseph Montgomery; and a daughter, Jessica Marie Mason, of Bardstown.
Mass of Christian burial is 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 18, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in New Haven with burial in Holy Cross Cemetery in Holy Cross. The Rev. Troy Overton will officiate. Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, March 17, and 8:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 18, until the time of the service at the funeral home. A prayer service will be at 6 p.m. Tuesday, March 17, in the chapel of the funeral home. William Rust Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
