Minnie Ellis, age 95, Mena, passed away Saturday, March 14, 2015 in Mena, Arkansas. She was born February 7, 1920 in Atoka, Oklahoma to the late Horace Woolard and Elzie Skaggs Woolard.
She was married to the late Harland C. Ellis. Mrs. Ellis was a convenience store worker and attended the Union Mission Pentecostal Church of God. She loved doing yard work, embroidery, quilting, and doing word find puzzles. Mostly she loved to cook when she could for family and friends and having company to visit. She was a loving and kind mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend to all who knew her. She will be dearly missed by all.
She is survived by: 4 Daughters; a Brother. She left a legacy of numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Henry Woolard, sisters, Mary Walker, Audie Bell Blye, Audrey Chamberlain.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, March 18, 2015, 10:00 a.m. at Union Mission Pentecostal Church of God with Brother Lewis Martin officiating. Interment will follow in the Pinecrest Memorial Park.
