Beverly Royce Kemp, 69, passed away March 14, 2015. She was born in Chester, PA on July 28, 1945 to Dovtyna and Albert Bradshaw (both deceased). She is now walking with the Lord on those streets of gold in a perfect body (without a brace). Beverly is survived by her husband Thomas Kemp, son Duane Kemp (Paige) of Albertville, AL, brother Albert Bradshaw Jr. (Carolyn), Sedona, AZ and sister Gayle Moore, Hartly, DE. Beverly was a faithful devoted wife of 51 years and mother, following her Navy husband from Washington, DC to Jacksonville, where they settled in 1971. She enjoyed visiting son Duane in many different areas of the country, where he also served in the Navy. She enjoyed sewing, crafting and working with children, which she did for many years at New Life Baptist Church, of which she was a charter member from its inception in 1989. Services will be held at New Life Baptist Church, 6680 Seaboard Ave., Jacksonville, FL 32244 on Thursday, March 19, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. Visitation will be held one hour prior from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Interment will be at Jacksonville National Cemetery, 4083 Lannie Road, Jacksonville, FL 32218 at 1:30 p.m. following the service. Hardage-Giddens Town & Country Funeral Home.
