Funeral services for Marjorie Ann Waggoner of Winona were at 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 7, in the Oliver Funeral Home Chapel, with burial following in Bethsaida Baptist Church Cemetery near French Camp. Rev. Randy Bridges and Mr. Dan Beardain officiated the services.

Visitation was Saturday, March 7, from 1 p.m. until service time, at Oliver Funeral Home.

Waggoner, 86, died of heart failure at North Mississippi Medical Center in Eupora on Tuesday, March 3. She was born in Montgomery County on July 1, 1928. She was a retired retail store owner and operator and a member of Bethsaida Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husbands, James R. Bridges and Joseph Howard Waggoner; parents, J. D. Dees and Leone Dees Montague; granddaughter, Amber Lynn Bridges; sister, Janette Applewhite; and brothers, James Arthur Dees, Burdette Montague, and Buster Montague.

Survivors include her daughter, Deborah Knott of Carthage; sons, James R. “Dickey” Bridges of Winona and Jerry Dale Bridges of Kilmichael; seven grandchildren, James Kevin Bridges, Kimberly Lynn Blount, Angie Abbott, Kelli Ann Ware, Daphne Lynn McClain, Dana Sue Smith, and Brandi Nicole Holly; twenty-one great-grandchildren, Darby Bridges, Luke Bridges, Heather Nail, Shane Ware, Lane Ware, Tyler Blount, Dusty Blount, Cody Blount, Jake Blount, Faith Grant, Shay Marlow, Chase Marlow, Kaylon Marlow, Austin Thornburg, Mary Ashton Thornburg, Bailey Nicole Collins, Savannah Brook Holly, Jayce Renee Holly, Wyatt Abbott, Preston Bridges, and Alayna Abbott; and seven great-great-grandchildren, Greyson Alan Ware, Addison Marlow, Kaylie Marie Marlow, Kylie Hope Marlow, Bentley Grant, Emily Grant, and Peyton Blount.

Pallbearers were Butch McGlothin, Michael Ray, Wade Blount, Tyler Blount, Kevin Bridges, and Randy Smith. Honorary pallbearers were Luke Bridges, Shane Ware, Lane Ware, Austin Thornburg, Chase Marlow, Wyatt Abbott, Preston Bridges, Eric Abbott, Dusty Blount, Cody Blount, Jake Blount, Ricky Bullard, Sonny Branch, Bruce Branch, Benny Montague, Curtis Laney, Dale Brown, and Jeff Kelly.
