Leading Aircraftwoman Annie Parkin was serving at No. 16 Service Flying Training School (SFTS) in Hagersville, Ontario; she died of natural causes in the Christie Street Hospital in Toronto.

The daughter of John William and Edith Anne (née Hillary) Parkin she had emigrated with her family from England in 1926.

Leading Aircraftwoman Annie Parkin is commemorated on Page 411 of Canada's Second World War Book of Remembrance.
