Albert Bean, 53 of London, died recently on a trip to Nassau, New York, friends here have learned. He is survived by his wife, the former Helen Gray. Mr. Bean was born in Wayne Township, Clinton County, May 16, 1913 and was a race horse groomer and served in World War II. He was the son of Charles and Zella Lawson Bean. Surviving also are three daughters, Mrs. Alice Long and Mrs. Nancy Long of London and Miss Elizabeth Bean of Columbus, four sons, Jack with the U. S. Navy in Vietnam, Robert, Roger and Dennis of London, three brothers, Dale and John of Sabina and Harry of Dayton, four sisters, Mrs. Catherine Hargrave of Sabina, Mrs. Margaret McCoy of Washington C. H., Mrs. Ruth Lambcke of Reesville and Mrs. Leita Cleavinger of Wilmington, and five grandchildren. Littleton Funeral Home, Sabina, is in charge of arrangements which are incomplete pending word from the son in Vietnam.
