Dodge City----Janet "Jane"Raye Pennington,74, died March 14,2015 at Western Plains Medical Complex, Dodge City. She was born on November 20,1940 at Dodge City,the daughter of Raymond Clifford and Lyne (Campbell) DuBois.

She was a lifetime area resident,living in the Bucklin and Pratt areas for a brief time. She was a graduate of Dodge City
High School. On June 13,1959,she married Jerry Pennington at Dodge City. She worked as a clerk for several years with Southwestern Bell Telephone Company, Dodge City,and later for the floral department at the Dillons store in Dodge City. She was an avid bingo player, a devoted dog lover and enjoyed reading and fishing.

She is survived by her husband Jerry Pennington, Dodge City,two sons Casey Pennington and wife, Michele,Dodge City, Rick Pennington, Dodge City,stepsister, Jan Goff,Hays; four grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Memorial services will be held at Swaim Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 18,2015 at 2:00 P.M. with Mr.Jeff Hiers presiding. Cremation took place as requested.
