Mrs. Henry was a lifelong resident of Treutlen County and was preceded in death by her parents, Athelle and Letitia Lowman Braddy. She was the owner/operator of the Southern Sisters Restaurant and was a member of the First Baptist Church, Soperton.
Survivors include her husband, Butch Henry, a daughter, Lori Bell, of Swainsboro; four sisters, Marie Sumner, Judy Wade, Ruth Anne Cullens, all of Soperton, and Betty Sue Rushin, of Edgefield, South Carolina; two brothers, Wallace L. Braddy and W.A. Braddy, both of Soperton; two grandchildren, Gage and Jordyn Bell, of Swainsboro; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday in the Chapel of Sammons Funeral Home with the Reverends George Grimes and James Rayburn officiating. Burial will be in Harmony Cemetery, Treutlen County. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
