Our beloved mother, sister, grandmother, and friend Dorothy Elizabeth Jensen Hatfield, died October 8, 1996 at LDS Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Born June 13, 1917 in Mt. Pleasant, Utah to Harold G. and Venetta Monson Jensen. Married George A. Hatfield on June 22, 1946, Los Angeles, California. He preceded her in death on November 24, 1990.
Past president of the Rolling Hills, California PTA. Served as a Girl Scout Leader and Cub Scout Den Mother. She enjoyed her work as a dietician at the Dixie Medical Center. Member of Daughters of Utah Pioneers and Wasatch Presbyterian Church. She devoted her life to her family and serving others.
Survived by her son, Dr. James Philip Hatfield (Sandy); daughter, Mary Elizabeth Seaman (John); grandchildren, Jon and Thomas Hatfield, Elizabeth, Ben, Jeff, Lauren, Sally and James Seaman; brothers, Dr. Jack Jensen and Dr. Robert Jensen.
Funeral services in Salt Lake City on Saturday, October 12th, at 11 a.m., Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple, where friends may call one hour prior to services. Interment will be at 4 p.m., Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Sanpete County.
