Cynthia V. Norris, 46, of Rock Island, died Wednesday, March 11, 2015 at her home. A memorial service will be 3 pm Saturday, March 21 at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home, Rock Island. Visitation will be an hour prior to service time at the funeral home. Inurnment will be private at a later date. Memorials may be made in care of the family.

Cynthia was born in Rock Island on March 4, 1969, a daughter of Roger L. and Rozetta Horton Brown. She married Alan Norris in Rock Island on April 8, 2000. They later divorced.

Cynthia enjoyed playing BINGO and listening to country music. Coloring was her therapy.

Survivors include, her children, Nicole (Matthew) Garcia, Milan, Shawna Luppen, Milan, Scott Luppen Jr., Rock Island and Desiree Luppen, East Moline; nine grandchildren; siblings, Ralph (Sherri) Brown, Rock Island, Tammy (Emanuel) Dailey, Davenport, Margaret (Greg) Engesser, East Moline and Randy (Sandy) Brown, Rock Island; several step-siblings; special friend, Paul Dorman, Rock Island; best friend, Alan Norris; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two grandsons, Miguel Caraveo and Kyle Shea, and sisters, Sharon Brockmann and Sandy Brown.
