Ruby Strobel and Paul V. Strobel were married on December 1, 1935, and have an adopted child. Mrs. Strobel charges her husband with extreme cruelty. She says he has been indifferent to her welfare, has treated her with insolence and has assaulted and beaten her.
The plaintiff says that she is the owner of the household goods; that she and the defendant have a joint savings account of about $2,900 and a checking account of about $150. She further says that they jointly own part of Inlot No. 49 in Greenfield which has a value of $2,000. Wherefore, she prays for a divorce, alimony and the custody of their adopted child.
An injunction was granted by Judge Myers restraining the defendant from interfering with the plaintiff in any way and from encumbering or selling any of his property and from drawing any of the money on deposit.
