Born Sept. 19, 1926, in Bedford, she was the daughter of Edward Moore and Bernice (Moore) Bobbitt. She married Robert B. Douglas on Oct. 17, 1943; he preceded her in death on July 20, 2009.
She was a member of First Baptist Church of Bedford.
Lois had worked at RCA, both in Indianapolis and Bloomington.
Surviving are one brother, Charles Carter Bobbitt of Seymour; two sisters, Kathleen Anderson of Bedford and Cynthia Annice Reynolds of Medora; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert; one son, D. David Douglas; three brothers, Delbert D. Rodenberger, James E. Rodenberger, and William Lee Bobbitt; and stepfather, Hugh W. “Peck” Bobbitt.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. on Tuesday at Ferguson-Lee Funeral Home, with the Rev. Dr. Kregg Burris officiating. Burial will be in Green Hill Cemetery.
