Kutztown, Jan. 13 -- Mahlon M. Bucks, 80, a retired Kutztown Foundry employee died last night in his home in Bowers. Born in Center Township, he was a son of the late Gabriel and Catharina (Blatt) Bucks. He was a member of the Reformed denomination.

Surviving are his widow, Annabelle (Gambler) Bucks; six sons: Warren L., Stanley C. and Lester S., all of Kutztown; Elwood G., of Bowers; Roger F., of Lyons, and Wilmer F., at home; a daughter, Ruth F., wife of Bruce Light, Reading; 13 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren, and a sister, Annie, widow of Thomas Stoudt, Laureldale.

Services Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. in the Fritz and Kendall Funeral Home, this borough, the Rev. Franklin D. Slifer officiating. Burial in Leesport Union Cemetery.
