Louis Carroll Beasley, age 59, of Colerain, NC died on Tuesday, September 2, 2014 at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville, NC.
Louis was a native of Bertie County, NC. Born on January 14, 1955 to Ella Beth McCrery Beasley and the late Carroll Watford “Nick” Beasley. He was a member of Colerain United Methodist Church. Louis was an avid hunter and devoted to his mother.
Along with his father, Louis was preceded in death by his grandparents, John Cecil and Mable Claire Beasley, and Mr. Frank Curry and Louise McCord McCrery, his uncle, Franklin McCrery, and his nephew, Brooks Beasley Spruill.
Left to cherish his memory along with his mother is his son, Warren Cody Beasley, his sister, Camille Beasley Soule and her husband Dennis, two aunts, Almarie McCrery and Ann Beasley Gurganus, his nephew, Charles Taylor Spruill, Jr, his niece, Claire Spruill Tyler and her husband Dawson, two great nephews, Brooks and Charlie Spruill.
Visitation will be Wednesday evening, September 3, 2014, at the home from 5:00 – 7:00 PM. Celebration of Life graveside service will be conducted at The Hillcrest Cemetery, Thursday, September 4, 2014 at 11:00 AM with the Reverend Walter Johnston officiating.
