Rex L. Titus, 79, of Grants Pass died Sunday, Aug. 10, 2014, at his home.A funeral Mass is set for Monday at 11 a.m. at St. Anne Catholic Church, with the Rev. Mike Walker officiating. Private interment will be at Hillcrest Memorial Park. Hull & Hull Funeral Directors is in charge of arrangements. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.since1928hull.com.In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Lovejoy Hospice, 939 S.E. Eighth St., Grants Pass, OR 97526; or to St. Anne Catholic School, 1131 N.E. 10th St., Grants Pass, OR 97526.He was born April 17, 1935, in Baker City to Rulon and Berniece Titus. In 1958, he graduated from the University of Oregon Dental School. On June 29, 1959, he married Ann Hof, who died Sept. 25, 2009. They moved to Grants Pass in 1963. From June 1960 to June 1963, he served in the Army and earned the rank of captain.He was a member of St. Anne Catholic Church and was involved with the Legion of Mary, an organization that served the homebound and infirm. For 42 years, he was a member of the Rotary Club of Grants Pass. He enjoyed fishing and golfing.Survivors include two sons, Mark and Brent; a daughter, Shannon; a brother, Herb; and three grandchildren.
