MT. PLEASANT -- Our beloved husband, father and grandfather, Grant Seely, 78, passed away July 27, 1996.
He was born December 3, 1917, in Mt. Pleasant, Utah, a son of Lawrence A. and Minerva Christensen Seely. He married Anna Gardner on September 7, 1940; later solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple.
Grant worked construction and loved working with wood. Enjoyed fishing and hunting, and spending time with his family. One of his favorite pastimes was riding his Honda and visiting his friends.
He is survived by his wife; three daughters, Janice (Gary) Taylor of Nephi, Shirley (Steven) Park of Payson, Deanna (Terry) Irons of Moroni; nine grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by parents, one grandson, and five brothers.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 30, 11 a.m. in the Mt. Pleasant Stake House. Friends and family may call Monday, 7-9 p.m. and Tuesday, 9:45-10:45 a.m. at Ursenbach Funeral Home. Burial, Mt. Pleasant City Cemetery.
