Funeral services to honor the life of Ms. Hendricks will be held Monday at 2:00 PM at King’s Grove Baptist Church. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service in the church sanctuary. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Sarah Frances Dodgens Hendricks, 82, of Toby Hills Road passed away peacefully Saturday, March 14, 2015 at Lila Doyle Nursing Center in Seneca, SC. Born in Pickens she was a daughter of the late Furman and Dolly Beatrice Leslie Dodgens. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She formerly worked at Garrett’s Department Store in Clemson and was a member of King’s Grove Baptist Church.

Surviving are a daughter, Kathy Holder of Six Mile; a son, Bill Hendricks(Marlene) of Salem; 2 brothers, Wayne Dodgens of Slab Town and Van Dodgens of Six Mile; 3 grandchildren, Rev. Joel Hendricks, Jeremy Holder and Brandon Hendricks; and 7 great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents she was predeceased by a son in law, Jerry Holder; 3 sisters; and 7 brothers.

The family will be at the home of her grandson, Jeremy Holder at Toby Hills Road Central, SC 29630. Liberty Mortuary is handling arrangements.
