Irene died peacefully at home on November 10, 2011 from pancreatic cancer with her family by her side. She was a loving and giving woman who always put her family first before any of her own needs or dreams. She was a very artistic and creative person who enjoyed sharing her knowledge of art and design with her daughters and granddaughters. For many years Irene had her own business, "The Kelley Green Shop." She designed and crafted floral arrangements and taught classes in floral design. She enjoyed selling many of her beautiful arrangements at craft shows. She also enjoyed going to family parties, gardening, traveling, camping and watching the wildlife around their home in Loveland, Colorado.

Her love and strong belief in God and the saving grace of His son, Jesus, is what kept her strong during difficult times.

Irene is survived by her loving husband Bob of 64 years, three daughters and sons-in-law, one son and daughter-in-law, seven grandchildren, six great grandchildren, one sister [survivors names omitted].

She was preceded in death by their daughter Patricia (Kelley) McCool.

A special thanks to Pathways Hospice for their help and support [names omitted] who helped take special care of her.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, 10:30 A.M. at Viegut Funeral Home with viewing at 9am. Interment at Loveland Burial Park following the services. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Pathways Hospice, MS Society of Colorado, or a charity of your choice.--Loveland Reporter-Herald, Nov. 15, 2011
