Mary Lou (Maddox) Stegall, 86, of Mount Juliet, Tennessee, went to be with her Lord and Savior Saturday morning, March 14, 2015, at her residence.

Mary Lou was born Saturday, December 15, 1928, in Sandoval, the older daughter of Paul "Bud" and Eleanor D. (Ferguson) Maddox. She married William "Bill" Clayton Stegall Jr. on December 20, 1948. He preceded her in death in 2007.
Mary Lou graduated from Woodlawn High School in Woodlawn in 1947. She was a wife, mother and homemaker in Olney most of her adult life. She had been a long-time member of Olney Southern Baptist Church until relocating to Mount Juliet, Tennessee. At her death, she was a member of Silver Springs Baptist Church in Mount Juliet. Mary Lou enjoyed her church, her family, cooking and gardening. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Mrs. Stegall is survived by son, Patrick L. Stegall and wife Rhonda, of Mount Juliet, Tennessee; daughter, Marietta S. Duncan and husband Billy, of Collierville, Tennessee; daughter-in-law, Deb Stegall, of Chillicothe; grandchildren, Austin, Andrew and wife April, Brianna, and Hannah Stegall; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, J. David Stegall; and sister, Marjorie A. Troutt.
