Diane Lynn Spadacini, daughter of Mrs. Flora Spadacini, of Fredericktown and Victor Spadacini of Kensington Ave., Uniontown, celebrated her first birthday Sunday. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Queen of Herminie and Mr. and Mrs. Nick Ozohonish of Fredericktown. Maternal great-grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. John Clair of Fredericktown. Diane also has a brother. Victor, who will be six years old in May.

Diane was born on February 26, 1960 in Fredricktown, Pennsylvania. She went to San Diego State to study Psychology. After she graduated from San Diego State, she eventually moved to Bakersfield where she attended Cal State Bakersfield to receive her Masters in Psychology.
She lived the rest of her life in Bakersfield, but never forgot her Pittsburgh roots. Once she finished with school Diane worked as a therapist for many years, where she truly utilized her passion of helping others.
Once her youngest daughter, Alyssa, went to Kindergarten she started her journey as a stay at home mom, which gave her the opportunity to continuously be there for her children. Her favorite things to do were watching her daughters participate in their activities, being with her friends and family, and .... Diane will always be remembered as kind hearted, loving, compassionate, and family oriented.
She leaves behind: two daughters Ashley and Alyssa, her mother Flora, her mother's husband Ed, and brother Victor.
The service will be held at Southwest Green lawn Cemetery on Tuesday, March 17, 2015 at 10:00am. Memorable contributions can be sent to Guide Dogs for the Blind in San Rafael, California.

Diane Spadacini - Class of 1978
Diane Spadacini Carroll went to be with her Lord Tuesday, March 10, 2015.
She was a 1978 graduate of Bethlehem-Center High School and continued her studies at San Diego State University, graduating summa cum laude. She then received her master's degree in psychology from California State University, Bakersfield, Calif.
Ms. Carroll resided in Bakersfield, where she worked as a therapist for many years, helping others, especially abused children.
She became a stay-at-home mom to work with her two daughters school activities and be with her family and friends, sharing her love of cooking and gardening. She will always be remembered as kind-hearted, loving, compassionate and close to her family.
Ms. Carroll, a victim of domestic violence, devoted many years working with her daughter, training guide dogs for the blind.
Surviving are two precious daughters, Ashley Carroll of Rohnert Park, Calif., and Alyssa Carroll of Bakersfield; her parents, Flora and Edward Cursi of Washington; brother Victor C. Spadacini of Washington; two aunts, Ruth Ann Bernard of McKeesport and Delores Spadacini of Fredericktown; and father J.V. Spadacini of Pittsburgh.
