Barbara E. Pedersen, age 68, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, May 21, 2008, at Aultman Hospital at Canton, O. She was a Bolivar area resident for several years. She was born on June 12, 1939, at Marion, O., to the late Clarence and Frances (McMonigal) Rupright. She graduated from Findlay High School at Findlay, O., and had attended Grace College at Winona Lake, Ind. Barb was a homemaker all her life and was co-founder of The Little Professor Book Store in Monroe Mall in Dover, O. She had worked as a librarian at the Bolivar Library and was a former Bolivar Village Council person where she was very instrumental in getting the new Bolivar Library building built. Barb was also an avid reader. She was preceded in death, in addition to her parents, by her stepmother, Ida Rupright, and a brother, Clarence Rupright Jr. She is survived by her husband, Fred W. Pedersen, to whom she was married in August of 1961; children, Debra (Tom) Smith of Bolivar, O., and Timothy (Lisa) Pedersen of Dover, O.; grandchildren, Taylor and Emily Pedersen of Dover, O.; and a sister, Ruth (Jim) Frost of Warrenton, Ore. Her funeral service will be Saturday, May 24, 2008, at 10 a.m. in the Faith Baptist Church of Wilkshire Hills, 9481 State Rt. 212 NE, Bolivar, O.
