Jason Matthew Jenkins, age 34, of 104 Grayson Drive Travelers Rest, South Carolina, died Tuesday, March 10, 2015.

Born a son of the Honorable Robert N. Jenkins and Margaret Helen Rivers Jenkins, he was educated in the public schools of Greenville County, a multi-sport athlete who played basketball and football at Travelers Rest High School and was pursuing his master's in public administration. He was a member of Allen Temple AME Church, and an adolescent residential service supervisor at White Horse Academy, a division of the Phoenix Center.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by one brother, Robert N. Jenkins, Jr. of Greenville.

Funeral service will be held 12 Noon Monday, March 16, 2015, at the Allen Temple AME Church with Minister Sandra Capers, Reverend James Speed, officiating. Burial will be in the Mountain View Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8pm, Sunday, March 15, 2015 at the Beasley Funeral Home Chapel, Greenville.
