Funeral services for Louise L. Cortemelia, 76, of Stafford, was held at 2 p.m. Monday, September 17, at Holy Family Catholic Church in Missouri City. Interment followed at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Rosenberg. Father Jesse Santiago officiated the services. A rosary service was held at 7 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 16, at Davis-Greenlawn Chapel in Rosenberg.
Louise was born Sept. 14, 1925 in Sugar Land to Arthur Nulisch and Ida Dramer Nulisch, and she passed away Sept. 15, 2001 in Sugar Land. She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Ida Nulisch, and her brothers, Albert, Curtis, and Louis Nulisch.
She is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Tannie Cortemelia of Stafford; a son, Robert Cortemelia and his wife, Mary, of Sugar Land; grandchildren, Chris Cortemelia and his wife, Amber, of Richmond, and Lisa Cortemelia of Sugar Land; a brother, Clarence Nulisch and his wife, Lucille, of Sugar Land; and other relatives and many friends.
Pallbearers were Chris Cortemelia, Willie Nulisch, Vince Petrenella Jr., William Gieresch Jr., James Nulisch, and Anthony Palermo.
Visitation was held Sunday, Sept. 16, at Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Chapel, 3900 B.F. Terry Blvd. in Rosenberg.
