SERVICES SET FOR MRS. DORA WALLACE
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Russell Funeral Home, Christopher, for Mrs. Dora Wallace, 88, of Mulkeytown. Mrs. Wallace died at 1:05 p.m. Tuesday at the Mattingly Nursing Home, Herrin, after a long illness. Mrs. Wallace, a resident of Franklin County 48 years, was born Nov. 7, 1881, in Kentucky, the daughter of Willie and Susan Usley Mudd. She was a member of the Baptist Church in Mulkeytown. Her husband, Charles Edward, died in 1934. She leaves sons, Willie T. of Herrin and Guy of Sherryville, Ind., daughters Mrs. Ada Sanders of Ziegler, Mrs. Ruby Frost of Owenaco and Mrs. Ida Schrink of Minnor, Ohio; brother Sam Mudd of Kentucky, 19 grandchildren, 65 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. The Rev. C. J. Ketteman will officiate and burial will be in Harrison Cemetery, Christopher. Friends may call at the funeral home.
