Daniel E. Berry, 91, of 2226 Long Run Road, Mill Hall, died Wednesday, July 18, 2012, at his home surrounded by loved ones.
He was born April 15, 1921 in Rote, a son of the late John E. and Della I. (Reisdorph) Berry.
He married the late Miriam M. Vonada on April 15, 1950 in Mill Hall.
He worked for Clinton Paper Company and served his country in World War II.
He is survived by two daughters, Donna B. (John) Allen of Rote and Sheila J. (Mark) Williams of Mill Hall; six grandchildren, Melinda and Alisha Allen, Jennifer (Brandon) Irvin, Jeremy, Jasmin and Jordan Williams, and four great-grandchildren, Carley Chambliss, Cody Allen and Kaden and Karsen Irvin.
Services will be held at 4 p.m. Monday, July 23, 2012, at the Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, 231 High St., Flemington, with the Rev. Frank Hartzel officiating. Interment will be in Hublersburg Cemetery.
