COLUMBIA - Funeral service for Alexander "Alex" Warren Montgomery, 41, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 14, 2015 at Trinity Presbyterian Church with burial in Greenlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Friday, March 13, 2015 at Dunbar Funeral Home, Devine Street Chapel.

Alex Montgomery passed away on March 8, 2015. Alex was born Alexander Warren Montgomery on October 26, 1973 and grew up in Columbia, SC.

He was a graduate from the Calhoun Honors College, Clemson University. One year after completing his studies at Clemson, Alex entered Seminary at Covenant Theological Seminary in St. Louis, MO.

For the last ten years, Alex has returned to the practice of engineering working for Terracon. He was licensed as a professional engineer in the field of Civil Engineering.

Alex is survived by his parents, Arthur and Cecelia Montgomery; brother, David (Crystal); niece, Katelynn; nephews, Austin, Tyler, and Spencer Montgomery; and innumerable uncles and cousins.
