Thomas J. Wilcox, age 74, of Troy, PA, died Thursday, March 12, 2015 at his home.
He was born May 28, 1940 in Canton, PA, a son of Lawrence and Lillian (O'Donnell) Wilcox.
Thomas was a Volkswagen Mechanic for many years, and a truck driver with J. R. Schugel Trucking Co. before he retired.
He was a US Marine Corp veteran and served during the Vietnam War.
Thomas is survived by 2 sons and a daughter-in-law, Jerome and Nyanna Wilcox of Troy, PA,
Duane L. "Wayne" Wilcox of Troy, PA; 3 grandchildren, Tara and Christopher Wilcox, Erica Hults; 2 great grandchildren;
a brother and sister-in-law, Larry and Shelby Wilcox of Montgomery, PA;
a sister and brother-in-law, Sandra and Bill Mead of Jordan, NY;
former wife and mother of his children, Beverly Wilcox of Mansfield, PA; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was predeceased by 2 brothers, John and Clarence Wilcox.
Family and friends are invited to call on Wednesday, March 18, 2015 from 10:30 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. at Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc., 637 S. Main St., Mansfield, PA.
A memorial service will follow at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor Keith Paris officiating.
Burial will be in Sylvan Hill Cemetery.
