Miss Brenda Gayle Johns, age 61, of West Green passed away Thursday, March 12, 2015, at the Shady Acres Health & Rehabilitation Center, following an extended illness. She was born October 11, 1953 to the late Fred Johns and Janett Moore Johns.
Survivors include: Her Mother: Janett Moore Johns of West Green, Ga.; 1 Brother: James Hoyt Johns of Fernandina Beach, Florida. 1 Sister: Sibyl Spivey of Detroit, Michigan. 2 Nephews: Stephen Johns of Fernandina Beach, Fla., and Michael Johns of St. Petersburg, Fla.; 2 Nieces: Kristen Spivey of Kennesaw, Ga., and Karen Meyers of Katy, Texas.
Funeral Services were held Sunday, March 15, 2015, at 2:00 P. M., at the West Ward Street Church of God, with Rev. Britt Peavy officiating. The Interment followed in the Burkett Cemetery, near West Green.
