Area Woman Is Killed In Car Mishap
Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Star, a traffic victim, were held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Wetselline church near Carnegie. Mrs. Hazel Botone officiated. Burial was in the Cedar Creek Indian cemetery under the direction of the Pitcher Funeral Home.
Mrs. Starr as killed about 4 p.m. Friday when the car in which she was riding collided with a pickup truck driven by Lewis J. Jantz of Fort Cobb. The accident occurred nine miles south and five miles east of Carnegie at county road intersection.
Mrs. Starr was born uly12, 1928, and had resided in this area most of her life.
She is survived by seven children and her husband, Ralph Spottedcrow.
