She married Tilford Forest Lawson of Missouri on September 9, 1942, but they separated later and she got an annullment. She died in Santa Monica, California on July 4, 1954.
Lottie married once, it only lasted a short time. After they married, she found out he only wanted to cuddle so she went and talked to a minister. He advised her to have the marriage annulled, so she did. It seems to me that she could have figured out that before she married him, but my mother said, "She probably thought she was getting a wonderful Christian man who was showing great respect for her"....
