He was born in Bowling Green, KY. He was a retired from Geoghegan Roofing. He is Baptist. He was an avid fisherman and hunter. He loved his family.
He is survived by his wife of 40 years Stephyne Evans Basham, his two sons, Jason Basham and Chris Basham both of Bowling Green. His parents, Eldon Basham and Betty Green Cardwell and her husband Doug all of Bowling Green. Sisters, Twanna Key (Bobby), Debbie Thomason (Dennis), and Mary Basham, brothers: Larry (Mary), Eldon Jr. (Becky), Timmothy ( Samuel Basham all of Bowling Green. Seven grandchildren; Chris, Jason Jr., Chris Jr., Shannon, Tapanga, Adison, and Arianah and one great grandson, Gabriel. Several niece, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Mother-in-law, Barbara L. Evans, 3 sisters-in-law, Teresa Miller (Terry), Carla Sweatt (Barry) and Diana Evans, a brother-in-law, Eddie Evans.
Visitation will be 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm Sunday and after 10:00 am Monday at the J.C. Kirby and Son Broadway Chapel. Funeral service will be 1:00 pm Monday at the J.C. Kirby and Son Broadway Chapel, with burial to follow in Fairview Cemetery.
