Gary R. Madison, 66, of Hattiesburg, died March 12, 2015, at his home. Services will be at 3 p.m., Sunday, March 15, 2015, at Moore Funeral Chapel in Hattiesburg followed by burial in Baxterville Cemetery.
Mr. Madison was rig manager with Nabors Oil Company and was a member of Maybank Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Dave Wesley and Lola Bell Madison; a grandson, Hayden Pittman; three brothers, Ronald Madison, Donald Madison and Billy Ray Madison; four sisters, Helen Winnett, Brenda Cox, Francis Blakeney and Willette Alich; and a nephew, Todd Lowe.
He is survived by his wife, Thresia Madison of Hattiesburg; three sons, Ricky Madison of Baxterville, Micah Madison of Hattiesburg and Mandel Madison of Lumberton; one daughter, Wendi Martin of Lumberton; one stepson, Cliffton Jones of Purvis; two stepdaughters, Marilyn Kemp of Purvis and Jennifer Shoemake of Petal; three sisters, Wanda Lowe and Jamie Lucas both of Baxterville and Sharon Fore of McHenry; three brothers, Leon Madison of McHenry, Rayborn Madison and Bruce Madison both of Baxterville; 14 grandchildren and step-grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Saturday from 5-8 p.m. at Moore Funeral Home in Hattiesburg.
