She was born on June 23, 1933 to the late Alfred and Lillie Ruth Taylor Kornegay in Nacogdoches, Texas. She was a Registered Nurse, and a life-long Baptist. She lived in Jonesboro until the last several years, before moving to Heber Springs. She loved playing bridge with her friends, and had a great sense of humor. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.
In addition to her parents and husband, Paul Fulks, she was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Christiana (O'Mary) Williams.
She is survived by two sons, Paul Fulks, Jr. of England and Tim Fulks of Gentry; one daughter, Paula (Chris) O’Mary of Springdale; four grandchildren, Courtney O’Mary, Anna Halbrooks-Fulks, Amy Halbrooks-Fulks, Audrey Simmons, and two great grandchildren, Avery and Aiden Williams.
The graveside service will be at 2pm on Saturday, March 14, 2015 at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery with Bro. Emil Williams officiating.
