Services for Ray O. Scott, Jr. will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, March 15, 2015 in the chapel of John Kramer & Son with Brother William C. Hardy officiating. Interment will be in Hemphill Star Cemetery in Wilda, La.

Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Saturday, March 14, 2015 at the funeral home. Visitation will resume from 9 a.m. until time of service on Sunday, March 15, 2015.

Ray is preceded in death by his parents, Ray O. and Dottie Dee Posey Scott, Sr.

Ray was a crane operator for many years and enjoyed fishing in his spare time. Everyone who knew Ray, loved him. He was a musician and enjoyed playing the guitar for friends. Ray was proud to be the 29th of 32 cousins.

Those left to cherish his memory include his 2 daughters, Erica Scott and Kyla Raby and son, Daniel Scott; 3 brothers, Kenneth Scott, Albert Scott and John Scott and 2 sisters, Judy Sibley and Eva Denham; 5 grandchildren, Camron Mock, Derrick Raby, Bailey Rougeou, Allison Raby and Alyssa Scott; and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers honored to serve will be Daniel Scott, Kenneth Scott, Josh Moak, and Charlie Denham.
